• Sign in — email address (via magic-link authentication; we do not store passwords)
• Use the app — listening history, bookmarks, and playback position (synced to your account)

We also automatically collect standard technical data: device type, OS version, app version, and crash reports. This data is used solely to fix bugs and improve the app.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account
• To sync your listening progress across devices
• To send magic-link sign-in emails
• To improve app performance and fix issues

In-App Purchases

Listen Unbound offers an optional one-time "Remove Ads" purchase through the Apple App Store. Payment is processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store payment information.

Audiobook Content

All audiobooks available through Listen Unbound are public-domain works narrated using AI text-to-speech technology. No copyrighted content is distributed.

Cookies

The website uses only essential cookies for authentication. The iOS app does not use cookies. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery via AWS SES) who are contractually required to protect it.

Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us.

Children

Listen Unbound is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
